Who we are
A legacy of holistic learning
Akshara International School is a group of CBSE-affiliated schools in Hyderabad and Karimnagar, Telangana. It was founded by Jagan Mohan Rao Arishnapally, a Hyderabad entrepreneur and founder of the Indwell Group. Today Akshara serves more than 9,500 students with 1,100 qualified staff across 9 campuses.
Our approach is simple: academics, sports and the arts deserve equal attention. Children follow the CBSE curriculum, with IB methodology in the early years, and take part in professional sports coaching, classical arts and clubs such as Model United Nations and TED-Ed every week.
